Rain, Rain, Go Away

Okay now this is getting ridiculous! Where is summer? I am so ready for it. I want to see the sun. Seems like all we have had for weeks and weeks is rain. Now, don't get me wrong,I know we need rain, but this is getting kinda crazy. Here is is June the 4th and it is only 60 degrees out, and where is the sun?

It is no wonder every joint hurts and everyone is complaining of things "hurting". We need some warmth in these old bones. We are trying to get our yard in shape, and trying to plant a vegetable garden. First it was late frost, now so much rain the ground is saturated. We did get some squash and peppers in, then a couple tomato plants. Finally the Hickman's gave us a couple yellow tomato plants and we have been trying to get them in it seems like forever!!! We finally got a full day of no rain, so Roger quickly put them in the rain soaked ground. Good thing he did though, that night it poured...we would never have gotten them in. Since then, we have had nothing but rain. Hope everything doesn't get drowned!!!

I know we shouldn't complain, because later we will be crying for rain. Thanks for letting me vent! Hope all of you are "weathering" this spring better!
